Come, Follow Me.

I have decided to start a blog posting the daily devotions I read, because apparently they have been on point for more than just me lately. I received an amazing devotion book from my Aunt Kim when I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree. She said she heard the voice of God speak to her and tell her that this devotional, Jesus Calling: Enjoying Peace in His Presence by Sarah Young, was to be given to me. I couldn't have agreed more now that I have begun reading it and I am on my journey of adulthood. Life sure can knock you down sometimes. It will knock you down so low you don't know how you are going to get back up, but with lots and lots of prayer, and spending time in God's word, God will not let you drown in suffering, he will show you the light. I have decided to start this blog to post the devotion for the day, plus some other uplifting and positive things to help anyone and everyone struggling or going through something in this journey we call life. Keep your head up and keep God first in your life.  Always.

Continue on this path with Me, enjoying My Presence even in adversity. I am always before you, as well as alongside you. See Me beckoning you: Come! Follow Me. The One who goes ahead of you, opening up the way, is the same One who stays close and never lets go of your hand. I am not subject to limitations of time or space. I am everywhere at every time, ceaselessly working on your behalf. That is why your best efforts are trusting Me and living close to me.

Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. - Hebrews 7:25

Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. - Psalm 37:3-4

A beautiful quote by Joel Osteen...
“If you know you have to wait anyway, why not make a decision to enjoy your life while you’re waiting? Why not be happy while God is in the process of changing things? After all, there’s nothing we can really do to make it happen any faster. We might as well relax and enjoy our lives, knowing that at the appointed time God is going to bring his plan to pass.”

For anyone who loves Indie/Folk music as much as I do...check out this amazing song!!!

The Love of God - The Reliques

I hope everyone finds comfort in this devotion, as well as my blog on a daily basis. We will delight in the light of the Lord.

Be blessed,
Britt
